Hyatt Centric South Beach Miami - Weekend Getaway

Hyatt Centric South Beach Miami

Our anniversary trip was fast but fun! We enjoyed staying at the Hyatt Centric South Beach. There was so much to do, all within walking distance of our hotel. This location was fantastic for a fun weekend in South Beach.

Our room was nice and big and nicely appointed. I would stay here again for sure!

Here is a view of the pool from my room. We didn’t visit it but it looked perfect!

This was a quick trip. We flew to Miami on Saturday morning. We took a Lyft to the hotel. Our room was ready so we dropped our bags off and quickly headed to lunch. You can find anything you want in South Beach to eat. It was a lovely day so we found a cute Italian place and had lunch. We love Italian food and we couldn’t resist stopping at this restaurant.

We enjoyed our time in South Beach. We walked many miles as we enjoyed the architecture and the beach. We visited the Art Deco museum. The museum explained the architecture and the massive movement to save what makes South Beach so special.

We also did a food walking tour I booked through Viator. It was fun to explore the city on foot trying yummy foods. My favorite thing we tried was from a Peruvian restaurant - ceviche. Our tour included appetizers, Cuban sandwich, ceviche, and finally ice cream. Everything was good and it was fun learning about Miami as we tasted our way through South Beach.

I look forward to returning and exploring another part of Miami in the future. With direct flights and credit card rewards points it makes this a great affordable way to explore Miami. We have already booked another stay here for an upcoming cruise.
